Tourist

Not always being a huge fan of Paris some may think I am snob, but it was, WAS the truth. I fell in love this month while being there during fashion week. We took AGAIN to show at Capsule Paris and walked away with an inspiration supply for a lifetime. Courtney and I did not miss a thing, we were on a mission to see everything and everyone jsut as a tourist should, no shame camera around the neck and backpack on. 

I was so lucky to experience the Barbara Bui show which was filled with light denim, textured textiles and hot shorts. Check out more here.

So growing up in Colorado we used to call this length of shorts Cool- Lots (when my grandma made them) But apparently in the Faushen world they are Bermudas. Anyways we made them for AGAIN and I love them. I haven't taken these unif boots off since I got them. they are comfy give me lift and perfect or concerts. haha

Well in the 100 degree weather you have to find comfort between air conditioning and the natural furnace outside. So my routine had to steer away from waking up in Venice 60 degree weather and thinking it would stay like that all day, because while I am cozy in my wool socks, blazer, leather shorts, and long sleeve tee cruising down the 10 freeway downtown I put my life in danger going 80 while rapidly ripping layers off while peeling my legs off the leather seats.

After three days, 4 months of preparation, two 113 degree weather and a fun team we generated the AGAIN SS14 look book in Palm Springs. Our Russian bombshell model (Rina Roe) would do anything even if it means burning her feet on the cement, climbing a hill in a long sleeve black dress to get the shot. Its always our goal to have fun at the look book shoots because you can always tell through the photos what the team had goin on. #Vibes

Found this ol thing in the dry clean pile that rarely moves in my closet, Osklen used to be one of my favorite brands out of Rio. Nothing like making people think you are wearing a lazy tee that you are saving for a special day, but truly trying to get the most ventilation out of your cloths so you dont have to put them back in that dry clean pile that doesn't take itself to the dry cleaners.

Being in LA makes weekend get aways easy as going to the grocery store. I am a #1 fan of going to hotels that are entertaining enough not to leave. Getting served by the pool, drinks by the bar, a mellow DJ wearing too many cloths for comport, and a nice cozy bed to head to are a couple of the things that are on the list. We went to Palm Springs for the 108 degree weather (the only thing that made me regret not being a sandal owner) this weekend to celebrate a friends birthday because the Ace, despite being a few steps up from a Vegas pool has all the the qualities that I was looking for, and they allow dogs, and have zebra gum in the mini bar. So after the hot weather, finding the cheesiest club in a strip mall, $12 floaties and a few tropical drinks later these photos some how ended up on my camera!
