Got this dress as one of those "I'm in the vintage store I have to buy something" impulse buys and loved the huge collar that you cant see. Every time I attempt to wear it I feel like a teacher that got spit balls spit behind her back in the 90's. My motto, put some heavy boots and a motor cycle jacket and you will instantly love it!
The Last of my Europe trip! I wont bore you with all the photos as I was in London as a total tourist. My mom had me on a crazy goose hunt to go places where my brother Paul had once visited. This was a great way for me to see everything cheesy. I am sorry for the lack of photos I was alone for most of the excursions!
I had the pleasure to stay at the Ace hotel in Shortich that just opened. I loved it, sometimes when you are traveling alone to a place you have never been a place that is somewhat familiar is nice. London was amazing. I thought it was a lot like New York but cleaner, more expensive, less late night clubs, oh and the people talk cuter. The vintage shopping was similar to LA, so i didn't get much until I was directed to this treasure island of amazing "Glastonbury esk" vintage store that I cant quite tell you because I know all you guys will hog it! But I can share a few places that I loved:
Hostem (Right by the ace really beautiful store)
Albion (Cafe right by Ace)
Casa Negra (Amazing Mexican Food)
Charlotte Street Hotel (Cute Restaurant on cute street)
AGAIN Suit (GEORGIA Top Here,RECLUSIVE Trouser Here)/ Vintage Leather Moto/ LD Tuttle heels
So yes, this post is a bit late, playing catchup doesn't usually consist of bragging about how I had the honor to see the YSL show IN REAL LIFE. I am so sorry I dont have many photos as I couldn't decide if I should just watch and take it all in or try to figure out the lighting on my camera to get a shot that they will have better online anyways. I loved the whole collection, I mean I dont even know where to start about what a dream, how star struck I was, and how hot it was to wear this outfit as there isn't much air conditioning in Paris, but as you can see it was great from day to night ;)
Not always being a huge fan of Paris some may think I am snob, but it was, WAS the truth. I fell in love this month while being there during fashion week. We took AGAIN to show at Capsule Paris and walked away with an inspiration supply for a lifetime. Courtney and I did not miss a thing, we were on a mission to see everything and everyone jsut as a tourist should, no shame camera around the neck and backpack on.
I was so lucky to experience the Barbara Bui show which was filled with light denim, textured textiles and hot shorts. Check out more here.
another post will follow with my "UnTouristy" photos soon! In the meantime here is a list of places I loved:
